Solenoid Valve, Water Valve Product Introduction
Install and direction for use
1. Instruction for installation of solenoid valve
1) Before installing, please clean the pipeline, clear away the impurities.
2) If the water is supplied from the water tower, please select adapted hydraulic solenoid valves, to avoid the solenoid valve failing the feed of water or small water flux.
3) Check whether the marked voltage of solenoid valve is consistent with the output voltage of control power, and examine whether the filter screen or each part of valve body is perfect. Make sure the direction of water flow is identical with the arrow direction of solenoid valve.
4) Install the valve indoors where can take convenience for the maintenance and prevent any other losses, pay attention to preventing being frozen and solarized, otherwise, the valve block will be cracking, aging and shorten life, The coils should be upward in installing.
5) Never use the spanner to operate the coils and plastic parts, keep the pipelines of couplings at the both ends of solenoid valve in the same horizontal, never install forcedly when two couplings are malposition, to guarantee the solenoid valve should be perfect in installing; in addition, make sure the installed solenoid valve should be free from the twisting force induced from the malposition of pipelines.
6) Conduct power-on detection after installation.
7) Label the falut tag with place, time, symptom and person in charge if have bad product, so as to help manufacturer discriminate and improve the quality.
8) Faults and losses that are caused by abnormal installation and improper useare not belong to manufacturer’s three-guarantee.
2. Basic faults and solutions
Cause | Test method | Solution |
1.The solenoid valve can't be opened
a) Connection is poor in contact | Examine the contact | Reconnect the wires |
b) Abnormal charge for coils | Measure the resistance with the multimeter | Change the coil or solenoid valve |
c) Abnormal working voltage | Test the working voltage | Change the input power to make it normal |
d) Water pressure is lower than 0.2Mpa | Open the water tap for estimation | Mount a booster pump or change the low hydraulic solenoid valve |
e) The filtering net is blocked | Visual assessment | Clean the filtering net regularly |
f) Valve flap hole is blocked by foreign material | Remove the coils for visual assessment | Clean and make the orificeunblocked, and examine the filtering net |
g) Water pressure is higher than 0.8Mpa | Open the water tap for estimation | Mount a pressure reducing valve or rise the working voltage (within 10%) |
h) The water inlet and outlet are installed reversely | Visual assessment | Reinstall correctly |
i) Others | Change the solenoid vale and stick a falut tag on it
2.Solenoid valve can't be closed
a) Power supply all the while | Measured by multimeter | Change or repair the power supply |
b) Valve flap hole or valve port is blocked by foreign matter | Disassemble the coil and Visual assessment | Clean and make the hole smooth, inspect the filter |
c) Rubber article on the lower ofmoving iron core drops off | Disassemble the coil and Visual assessment | Reassemble the rubber article |
d) Rubber diaphragm is damaged orsplit away off | Disassemble the coil and Visual assessment | Reassemble the rubber diaphragm |
e) Others | Change the solenoid vale and stick a falut tag on it
3.Nonreturn leakage | ||
a) Nonreturn diaphragm is damaged or split away off | Disassemble the rear cover and Visual assessment | Remount the nonreturn diaphragm |
b) Valve port is blocked by foreign matter | Disassemble the rear cover and Visual assessment | Flush away the foreign matter, inspect again |
C) Others | Change the solenoid vale and stick a falut tag on it
4.Small flow rate | ||
a) Valve flap hole or valve port is blocked by foreign matter | Disassemble the coil and Visual assessment | Clean and make the hole smooth, inspect the filter |
b) Filter screen is blocked up | Visual assessment | Clean the filter screen |
c) Others | Change the solenoid vale and stick a falut tag on it
5.Low water pressure leakage
a) There is incrustation or dirt in valve pocket | Disassemble the coil and Visual assessment | Clean the dirt in the rubber diaphragm and valve pocket |
b) Others | Change the solenoid vale and stick a falut tag on it
6.Pipe fitting and other part of valve bodyleak
a) Parts are damaged or frozen burstwhen transporting and mounting | Visual assessment | Change the solenoid vale and stick a falut tag on it, make sure to install correctly, install the solenoid indoors or pay attention to heat preservation |
b) Others | Change the solenoid vale and stick a falut tag on it |
